Synopsis
A story of male friendship sometimes gone astray. Dave, Pat and Ben have been best friends since they were kids. They do everything together, and they all love their dear Liverpool football club. On a trip to see their favourite football team in action, they have a few too many drinks before the match. Dave and Pat get busy chatting up two local girls. Suddenly, it's time to leave for the game. But where's Ben?
About the Author
Roddy Doyle is winner of the 1993 Man Booker Prize for his novel, Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha, a story of the world understood and misunderstood by a ten-year old Dubliner. Several of his novels, including the Barrytone Trilogy: The Commitments, The Snapper and The Van, have been made into successful major motion pictures. He lives in Dublin.
