About the Authors
Joseph Bruchac has authored more than seventy books for adults and children, and his work has appeared in over 500 publications. He has won numerous honours and awards, includign a Rockefeller Humanities fellowship, a National Endowment for the Arts Writing Fellowship for Poetry, and the Cherokee Nation Prose Award. In 1999, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Native Writers Circle of the America. He lives in Greenfield Centre, New York.
Will Davis began his professional career in the art world in the field of animation, working for MTV Animation, Cartoon Network, Disney, CBS, Fox, ABC and many others. He illustrated the Clemency Pogue series written by J.T. Petty. He lives in Milton, Florida.
